About Me

My name is Ann Marie Forkan and I live in Sacramento, CA with my husband, John, who inspires me daily and is the love of my life. We moved here from St. Louis, MO a little over 4 years ago so he could open up Window World of Sacramento with his best buddy, Brian Goldberg. I LOVE California, in fact so much that I hate even leaving the state. I miss my family terribly and every day, but this is my life, and I'm in love with it. John and I married in 2008 and about a year ago we purchased our first home, one of my favorite places to be on earth. It's ours and it's just fabulous! I work as a project and marketing coordinator for a local General Contractor. John and Brian own Window World of Sacramento, Silicon Valley and San Diego.

Yep, it's a lot and we don't live a normal 9-5 life but that would bore me. My passion is jewelry. I think about jewelry all the time. Day and night. One might say I'm obsessed; those people can fly a kite!

In 2009, and with the help of my father in law jeweler John Forkan III of John Anthony Jewelry in St. Louis, I designed and developed a line of jewelry for Window World Cares.  Founded in 2008, Window World Cares is Window World Inc.'s charitable foundation used for donations, community outreach programs, and other benevolent events. In addition to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Window World Cares also supports the Veterans Airlift Command, which provides free transportation to injured soldiers, veterans, and their immediate families.

In August of 2010 we auctioned off my first jewelry collection at the annual Window World Family Reunion in Orlando, FL and raised over $90,000 with the jewelry alone! This experience was life changing for me and truly inspired me in so many different ways. The auction exceeded all of my expectations and I knew I had to do it again and again.

Shortly after I released a sterling silver collection which raised another $25,000.  Again, going above and beyond what I thought was possible with my little jewelry line.

This past July, my 2011 collection raised another $70,000! This life experience has changed me, moved me, humbled me.   I have learned so much not only from the people donating the money, but also from every single person involved.

My father in law works diligently and donates all of his labor to hand-make each piece. I am so grateful for him and all of the hard work he has put toward making my collection look so amazing. Thank you dad for all that you have done!

In addition to my charity jewelry collection for Window World Cares, I also have a line of monogram pieces that are just perfect for the girly girl on the go in need of the right staple piece of jewelry. EVERY girl needs those go-to pieces, it's a MUST in everyone's jewelry wardrobe.

This is MY passion............
